I am locked out right now. What should I do?
Call (636) 628-7803 first, then stay put somewhere safe and wait. Tell us the address, whether it is a house, a business or a car, and whether anyone is shut inside — a child or a pet in a locked car changes how we prioritize the job.
Please do not force a window or shoulder the door. A broken frame or a cracked pane costs far more to repair than the lockout you started with.
Will you damage my door or lock to get in?
In most cases, no. Standard residential and commercial locks can be opened without damage and go straight back into use afterwards, and that is always our first approach.
A small number of high-security cylinders and badly damaged locks cannot be opened that way, and drilling is the only route in. If that is your situation we will say so before we start, along with what a replacement cylinder costs, so the decision is yours.
Do you open cars as well as homes and businesses?
Yes. Car lockouts are part of our emergency work alongside house and business lockouts.

To be clear about the limits: we unlock vehicles. We do not cut or program car keys, fobs or transponders.
Do I need to be there when you arrive?
Yes. Somebody has to be at the property or the vehicle who can show it is theirs to enter — a driving licence with the address, a lease, a utility bill, or the registration document for a car.
If your ID is locked inside, say so when you call and we will talk through what else will work. We ask every single time. It is the same check that stops somebody else doing this to your front door.
What if I have lost my only key?
Then getting the door open is only half the job. A lost key still opens your lock until the lock is changed, and if it went missing with anything showing your address, that matters.
We will normally suggest rekeying at the same visit so you are not paying for a second call-out. It is quicker and cheaper than replacing the hardware, and the old key stops working the moment we are done.
What if I am locked out after 10 PM?
